Margaret Nally

Margaret Nally, 90, of Oshkosh, died Friday, September 13, 2013 at Bethel Homes, Inc., Oshkosh. She was born May 18, 1923 in Oak Creek, WI, the daughter of Julius and Antonia Gaida. On January 10, 1948 she married Leo F. Nally in Milwaukee. Margaret worked for Concord Cheese and as a certified nursing assistant at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, picking hickory nuts, canning, crafts, watching and feeding the birds, her kitties, and most of all loved spending time with her family.She is survived by five children, JoAnn (Lynn Morgan) Gaida Strook, Pickett, Gerald Nally, CA, Darlene (James) Peterson, Eden, Rose (Steve) McAuly, Oshkosh, Leo (Diana) Nally Jr., Spooner; 16 grandchildren, Carole Strook, Tim Strook, Tamara (Curt) Mortenson, Sherryl Spruettle, James (Audrey) Strook, Julie (Phil) Smith, Jayne (Jim) Kempfer, James (Joanne) Peterson, Jeff (Wendy) Peterson, Michael (Gail) Peterson, Deborah (Nyle) Wellso, Summer (Jerri) Boxer, Eric, Amanda, Stephanie and Lisa; 21 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She is further survived by five sisters, Sylvia Lacher, Oak Creek, Violet Brink, Racine, Irene Sobieski, Sobieski, Dorothy Sobieski, Franklin, Helen (Gene) Rudoll, Oak Creek; special friend, Alice Wirtz, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson, Steven Peterson; one great grandson, Wyatt Galligan; one son-in-law, David Strook; one brother, Willard Gaida; sister and brothers-in-law.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM "“ 8:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM "“ 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. David Redman officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.
