Margaret R. Sperbeck, 81, of 410 N. Brooke Street, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at her residence. She was born April 26, 1927, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William M. and Viola A. Maloof Brennan. On September 17, 1949, she married John F. Sperbeck in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1967. Margaret was a member of Holy Family Parish. She retired from St. Agnes Hospital, after serving for many years as a medical staff secretary.Surviving is a daughter, Mary Grace (Richard) Bauer of Fond du Lac, three sons, William (Linda) Sperbeck, James (Kathie) Sperbeck, and Michael (Gena) Sperbeck, all of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Joshua (Brandy) Bauer of Phoenix, AZ, Ann (Daniel) Ruiz of Brown Deer, WI, Cassie (Brian) Rosenmeier of Ripon, WI, Jackie Hanewall, Jared (Heather) Bauer, Katie Sperbeck, and Kayla Sperbeck, all of Fond du Lac, six great-grandchildren, Skylar, Holden, and Jack Bauer, Emily Hanewall, Avery and Evan Bauer, special grandson, Tom Hanewall, and very special friend, Kay Stubbe. She is further survived by a brother, Wayne (Sue) Brennan, a sister, Mary Reader Wendels, a sister-in-law, Dolly Brennan, all of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, a brother, William Brennan, Jr., and two brothers-in-law, Tom Reader and Ralph Wendels, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Margaret R. Sperbeck will be on Saturday, September 6, 2008, from 8 to 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, 232 S. Peters Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am at the church. The Rev. Patrick Heppe will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremated remains will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
