Margaret Thielitz, 80, formerly of 904 Security Drive, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born May 22, 1924, in London, England, the daughter of Albert and Margaret Long Ross. On April 17, 1944, she married Ben A. Thielitz in Winchester, England at Winchester Cathedral. From 1942 to 1944, she served with the British Army. She moved to the United States in September of 1944. Margaret was employed in various clerical positions in Fond du Lac, Baraboo, and Seattle, WA. She enjoyed knitting beautiful warm sweaters, hats, and mittens. Surviving is her husband, Ben, three daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Littlegeorge of Lake Delton, WI, Carol Thielitz of Seattle, WA, and Rosemarie Reiter of Weed, CA, two sons, Michael Thielitz of Seattle, WA, and Patrick (Shirley) Thielitz of Reedsburg, WI, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Further surviving is a brother, Ronald (Wynn) Ross of Toronto, Canada, and a sister, Helen (George) Daniels of Vancouver, British Columbia. Her parents, a daughter, Kathleen Warren, an infant twin granddaughter and grandson, and one brother, Albert Ross.
Memorial services will be on Friday, May 13, 2005, at 1:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
