Marguerite C. Kuether

Marguerite C. Kuether, age 93, passed away peacefully at Grancare Nursing Home on Friday, February 17, 2012. She was born on July 15, 1918 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edward and Freda (Hall) Rashid. Marguerite married Lester Kuether on August 23, 1943 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1989. They became members then at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. She worked at Infant Socks and later became a receptionist at Sharpe Clinic until her retirement. Marguerite's talents included walking two miles everyday, quilting, sewing, singing in the church choir, photography, and painting.SURVIVORS: her children, Lynn (Hilda) Kuether of Arizona, Pat (Bob) Wirkus of Rosendale, Laurie (Steve) Busch of Indiana, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brothers, Joe Rashid of Fond du Lac, and Mike (Dee-Dee) Dietz of Arizona, and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, brothers, Bob, Floyd, Jim, and Jed, sisters, Katherine and Betty, and one grandson, Paul.



VISITATION: Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until 12 noon at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 N. Prairie Rd, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 12 noon at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Faith Ev. Lutheran Church.The family would like to thank the Grancare Staff for their outstanding care over the years and to Cola for always making her smile.
