Our Lord and Savior called our sister in faith Marguerite E. Lange to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the age of 95 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on November 1, 1915 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William C. and Emma L. (Dissel) Lieflander. On January 9, 1932 she married Harold B. Lange at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church Parsonage. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2000. Marguerite was a lifelong Fond du Lac resident, working at Wells Manufacturing for seventeen years retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church where she was very active and was in the Gleaners. She also was a member of the singing group Sweet Adeline's.SURVIVORS: five children, Nancy Kowalkowski, Shirley (Steve) Thurk, Mary (Kenneth) Cudworth, Phyllis (Quinn) Gross, John (Carol) Lange all of Fond du Lac, twenty-two grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, her son Harold Jr, one sister Alice Kaiser, and two great-grandchildren
VISITATION: Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St, Fond du Lac from 10-11:30 A.M. FUNERAL: Thursday, March 24, 2011 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church at 11:30 A.M. with the Reverend Michael Zuberbier officiating. Burial will take place at Estabrooks Cemetery.Special thanks to the staff at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, Dr. Hay, and everyone involved in Marguerite's care.In lieu of flowers of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Peter's Ev.
