Margueritte E. Zuehlke

May 25, 1921 — February 5, 2008

Margueritte Elizabeth Zuehlke, died at the age of 86 on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Grancare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fond du Lac where she had resided for the past two and a half years. Margueritte was born May 25, 1921 the daughter of Wallace Means and Eldora Duffee Means Vosler in Sandy Lake, PA. She married Waldemar Zuehlke on June 28, 1940 in the First Baptist Church in Franklin, PA and he preceded her in death September 21, 1999. Mrs. Zuehlke was an LPN at St Agnes Hospital for thirty years and a Hospice care nurse for five years. She enjoyed rock collecting and lapidary plus traveling with her very best friend Ruthella Wolf and sharing times with Ruthella's family. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Stars in Wakefield.SURVIVORS: her son, Fred Zuehlke (Fiancee, Judith Miller) of Brighton, MI; 4 grandchildren, Brenda Gordon and Rhonda Hurley both of Oviedo FL, Craig Zuehlke of Chelsea, MI and Lauren Johnson of Oakland MI; and six great-grandchildren. Margueritte was preceded in death by two brothers, her older brother, Harry Means of York, PA and her younger brother, William Means of Boyertown PA.



VISITATION: will be held from 1 pm "“ 2:30 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Hastings officiating. Inurnment will be held at Salem Cemetery, Lomira at a later date.Memorials are appreciated to the charity of your choice.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
