Marian H. Kozminski, 95, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born June 2, 1925 the daughter of George Haensgen and Elsie (Halle) Haensgen Mahlberg. On May 25, 1946 she married the love of her life, George Kozminski at St. Casimir’s Church in Milwaukee. Marian volunteered for many years at the St. Agnes Hospital Resale Shop. She loved spending time with her family, having monthly birthday dinners, and cooking well into her 90’s. Marian loved to watch sports, especially the Brewers and the Packers. She liked to garden, bike, go on walks, read, and traveling with her daughter in her later years.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Carol Kozminski of Plymouth; two grandchildren, Marnie (Kevin) Schmidt of Hales Corners and their children Mason and Madeline, and Ryan (Evelyn) Kelly of Plano, TX; a son-in-law, Richard Kelly of Greendale; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Kathleen Kelly.
Graveside service will take place on Thusday, July 16, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Cemetery, 686 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935.
A Celebration of Marian's Life will take place at a later date.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Hospice Home of Hope and their staff for the care and compassion given to Marian. Also, a special thank you to her goddaughter, Norlene Haase for all her help and support during this difficult time.
