Marian K. "Vander Zanden" Loehr

Marian K. Loehr (Vander Zanden), age 87, of 412 Wisconsin Ave, North Fond du Lac, died peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Hospice Home of Hope. "Mom is leaving her family on earth to meet her family in heaven." She was born on September 4, 1921 in Moline, IL the daughter of Harry and Mary (Baird) Lange. On September 29, 1945 she married Clarence H. Vander Zanden. He preceded her in death in 1953. On July 25, 1992 she married Joseph H. Loehr at Presentation Church. He preceded her in death in 1995. Marian worked as a nurse's aid for twenty-three years at Care Center East. She was a member of Presentation Church since 1945, a member of Sweet Adeline's Chorus for many years, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the ladies card club-always looking for a good sheapshead game.SURVIVORS: three sons, Howard C. (Joanne) Vander Zanden of Stoughton, WI, and their children, Sherry and Jeff of Stoughton, Tom R. (Sandy) Vander Zanden of Theresa, WI and their daughter Connie (Scott) Olson of Fond du Lac, Wayne E. (Jackie) Vander Zanden of Verona, WI and their son Chad, and Wayne's son, Brian (Julie) Vander Zanden, one great grandchild, Hailey Lynn of Lisle, IL, special friends, Andy and Joan Kohlman of North Fond du Lac, brother in law, Joe (Grace) Vander Zanden of Madison, two sisters in law, Barb Vander Zanden of Little Chute, and Marguerite Lange of Fond du Lac, brother in law, Norman (Rosie) Loehr of Mt. Calvary, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence H. Vander Zanden her husband Joseph H. Loehr, two brothers, Harold and Elmer Lange, and a sister-in-law, Margaret Lange.



VISITATION: Monday, October 13, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Presentation Church, 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac, with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
