Marian L. Leary

Marian L. Leary, 86, formerly of 160 N. Bell Street, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident since August of 2005. She was born January 28, 1920, in LaCrosse, WI, the daughter of William A. and Eva O. Albertson Schreiber. On July 26, 1952, she married Norman F. Leary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in LaCrosse. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1999. Mrs. Leary was a member of Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran. She was a member and past president of Eagles Aerie #270 Auxiliary, a life member of La Crosse Chapter#22 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Kiwannianne Club of Fond du Lac. Marian was formerly employed by the U.S. Soil Conservation Service.Surviving are three nieces, Karen (Terry) Page of Bagley, WI, Jean Lademann of Lake Villa, IL, and Debbie Schreiber of Janesville, WI, two nephews, William Schreiber and James (Lynn) Schreiber, both of Janesville, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Marston Schreiber, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Marian L. Leary will be on Sunday, March 26, 2006, from 1 to 2 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at the funeral home on Sunday. The Rev. Duane C. Wisner will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
