Marian M. WingersMarian M. Wingers, 74, of 50 N. Reserve Ave. in Fond du Lac died Sunday, November 7, 2004 at Hospice Home of Hope. Marian was born October 1, 1930 in Chilton, a daughter of Michael and Eleanore Doern Wingers.Marian was a 1949 graduate of Chilton High School and a 1952 graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing. Marian worked as an R.N. staff nurse at St. Agnes Hospital for 42 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, genealogy, and belong to Healing Paws; visiting nursing homes with Pomeranian dogs.Survivors include several cousins; Dwight (Carol) Poppy of Stockbridge and their children Jennifer (Herb) Poppy-Numrich of Neenah and D. Christopher (Amy) Poppy of Denver, CO, Marilyn (Marvin) Fisher of Des Moines, IA, and their children Cynthia (Scott) Hammes of Ankeny, IA and James (Julie) Fisher of Waukee, IA, and a special friend; Dale O'Malley of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother; Mathilda Doern.



Visitation for Ms. Wingers will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2004 from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Chilton.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
