Marie A. Kropp

Marie A. Kropp, 96, of St. Francis Home for the last 4 years, St. Francis Terrace and formerly of 200 Ashland Ave., passed away Thursday, September 13 at the home. She was born on August 7, 1911 in Fond du Lac, to Frank and Barbara Altman. She graduated from Fond du Lac High School. On May 15, 1937 she married David Kropp at St. Mary's, he preceded her in death on April 30, 1994. Marie worked at the Telephone Company, LaRisista Corset Factory and at Florence Eiseman. Marie was a lifelong member of Holy Family - St. Mary's, a member of Daughters of Isabella. Marie loved her family and spending time at the cottage in Wautoma where she and Dave enjoyed many years. She was an excellent seamstress. She is survived by her "girls" Diana (Steven) Turner of N. Fond du Lac, Patty (David) Dittrich, of Minneapolis, and 3 "grandchildren", Laura (Jeff) Starck, Jason Turner, and their families, and Nicholas (Elizabeth) Dittrich. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Sally Coyne, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Francis, Gerard and John, and 1 sister, Dorothy, and their spouses.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 10-11A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of The Word Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the funeral home. Reverend Vic Capriolo will officiate. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.The family wishes to thank Dr. Trepanier, and the staff at St. Francis for all their loving care. Memorials preferred to the St. Francis Home Employees Fund.
