Marie A. Mielkie

MARIE A. MIELKIEMarie A. Mielkie, age 90, of 871 S. Main St, Fond du Lac, died Monday, November 7, 2005 at her residence. She was born on December 2, 1914 in Saskatchewan, Canada the daughter of Matthias and Josephine Kirmier Jost. On November 16, 1934 she married Gustav H. Mielkie in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death in December of 1984. Marie moved to Neenah from Canada in 1927 and then to Fond du Lac where she has resided since 1947. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family. SURVIVORS: her children, Donald (June) Mielkie of Fond du Lac, Myrna (Charles) Schneider of Tucson, AZ, Nancy (Mike) Gardner of Mansfield, TX, Connie (Charles) Hackbarth of Beaver Dam, Larry (Delores Parsons) Mielkie of Norco, CA, Kathy (John) Wilson of Lamar, AR, Michelle Steinke of Fond du Lac, Mardi Mielkie of Fond du Lac, Cindy Mixon of Savannah, GA, thirty six grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, brother, Boyd (Peggy) Jost of Neenah, and sister in law, Trudy Jost of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one son, one grandson, four brothers, and two sisters.



VISITATION: Saturday, November 12, 2005 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
