Marie C. Mccrory

Marie C. (Luby) McCrory, 97 ,formerly of 101 Western Avenue and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past 7 ½ years died Monday, April 7, 2014 at the home. Marie was born on February 27, 1917 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Edward and Elsie DeVelice Kraemer. On September 17, 1938 she married Donald Luby at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Donald preceded her in death on March 25, 1968. On September 22, 1978 she married Eugene McCrory at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Eugene preceded her in death on May 17, 1985. Marie was a graduate of Fondy High School. She worked at Larsen Photography doing oil painting on the portraits. Later she worked at Stateson's Restaurant and Sentry South Bakery. Marie was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and currently a member of Holy Family Parish "“Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed baking, oil painting for friends and family, gardening, ceramics, Sunday rides, and being with her children and grandchildren.SURVIVORS: Marie is survived by her five children, Connie (Bob) Bisson, Fond du Lac and their children Ginger Ferris, Bobbie (Shawn) Dear, Pattie (Kim) Haws, Kathy Nett , Fond du Lac and her children Tom Nett and Dan (Ambra) Nett, Sandy (Gary) Rathman, Fond du Lac and their children Rick Field, Lori Field and Renee Rathman, Jim (Shirley) Luby, Fond du Lac and their children Jamie (Brian) Reetz, two step daughters Lori (Greg) Kraus and Pam (Ryan) Gross, Sharon (Kevin) Crowley, Goodman, WI and their children Steve (Hannah) Crowley and Riley Crowley, thirty-two great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great-grandchildren, a son-in-law Gary Silah, Fond du Lac, other relatives, Bob (Kathy) Teofilo, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant son Thomas, daughter Mary Silah, a grandson Scott Bisson a son-in-law, James Nett and a infant sister Constance.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 4 to 6 PM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Holy Family Church.
