Marie D. Fisher

Marie D. Fisher, 74, of 389 N. Peters Avenue, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born March 9, 1930, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Robert and Josephine Heus Sabel. On November 5, 1949, she married William C. Fisher at St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Peter. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1987. Mrs. Fisher was formerly employed by Rolling Meadows Nursing Home for 25 years as a nurse's aide.Surviving are four sons; Charles (Sue) Fisher of Normal, IL, John (Sandy) Fisher of Madison, Jerome Fisher of Fond du Lac, and Stephen (partner Sue Lakin) Fisher of Portage, WI. Four grandchildren, Abigail, Kathryn, Samuel, and Trevor, and a sister, Shirley Schneider of Fond Du Lac, further survive her. Her parents, husband, and two sisters, Virginia and Geraldine, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Marie D. Fisher will be on Thursday, April 29, 2004, from 3 to 7 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial will be at 7 pm at the funeral home on Thursday, April 29, 2004. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and cremation will follow.
