Marie H. Kiefer

Marie H. Kiefer, age 86 of 60 South Lake Lane, died Monday, March 30, 2009 at Hospice Home of Hope. Marie was born on May 8, 1922 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Joseph J. and Margaret A. Schraven Casper. On September 14, 1946 she married Felix P. Kiefer at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. She was a league bowler, and on numerous occasions bowled a 500 series and many 200 games. Marie enjoyed playing card games, scrabble, and spending time with family and friends.SURVIVORS: Marie is survived by two children, Gloria (Paul) Hoff, Brownsville, Richard (Angie) Kiefer, Fond du Lac, daughter-in-law, Renee Kiefer, Campbellsport. Further survived by seven grand children, Michele, Angela (Adam), Kelly Kiefer, Anna and Lindsay Hoff, Emily and Audrey Kiefer, one great-granddaughter Mia Kiefer, Marie's twin brother, Pete (Vi) Casper, Fond du Lac, and a sister Bernice Benedict, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Thomas Kiefer, a brother Ray Casper and one sister Elvira Quasius.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home and at 10:30 A.M. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish- St. Mary's Church.
