Marie J. Bye

Marie J. Bye, 95, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born March 24, 1919 in Jericho, WI a daughter of Frank and Frances (Mueller) Baker. In the late 1920’s, her family relocated to Fond du Lac. On September 27, 1947 she married Herbert Bye in Fond du Lac. Marie was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holy Family Parish in Fond du Lac.



She is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Tom) Bladl of Fond du Lac, granddaughter Lindsay Bladl and grandson Dylan Bladl, both of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and three sisters.



Visitation for Marie will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Liturgy of the Word services will be held at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place.



The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the exceptional care given to Marie for the past 3 years.
