Marie J. Maus

Marie J. MausMarie J. Maus, 75, formerly of 871 S. Main Street, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born May 2, 1931, in Green Bay, the daughter of Floyd and Ruth Johnson Thelen. On March 25, 1960, she married Dewane R. Maus in Dubuque, IA. Mrs. Maus was formerly employed by Wells Manufacturing for 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, camping, and was a big Elvis fan.Surviving are four sons; Kenneth (Nancy) Wilson, Jr. of Fond du Lac, Larry Wilson of Fond du Lac, Jeff (Special friend, Janice) Wilson of Chilton, and Dennis (Special friend, Laurie) Maus of Fond du Lac, two daughters; Debbie (Steve) Wiertz of Roselle, IL, and Denise Maus of Fond du Lac, 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters; Barb (Jack) Byrnes and Suzanne Bingham, both of Green Bay, three brothers; Ken (Sandy) Thelen of Hertford, NC, Jim (Hildi) Thelen of Mountain Home, AK, and Tom (Sharon) Thelen of Green Bay, and her step-mother, Monica of Green Bay. Her parents, first husband, Kenneth Wilson, Sr., second husband, Dewane Maus, and a brother, Floyd Thelen, preceded her in death.



Per Mrs. Maus' wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
