Marie T. "Granny" Flynn

Marie T."Granny" Flynn, 95 of Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services where she had been a resident the past 8 years. Marie was born on August 15, 1918 the daughter of Barthel and Helen Steinmetz Thill in Ashford, WI. Marie enjoyed her job as a CNA at Care Center East for over 20 years. She enjoyed bingo, baking, cards and in her earlier years gardening. Marie was an active member of St. Mary's Church.SURVIVORS: Marie is survived by her loving daughters Elaine Nelson of Iola, Charlene Culver, Orla Sagle and Linda Flynn all of Fond du Lac, three sons Donald (Kathy) Flynn, Bill (Kathy) Flynn and Dennis (Cindy) Flynn all of Fond du Lac, twenty five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, one daughter-in-law Chong Flynn of Green Bay and one sister Pauline Zasada of Fond du Lac. Preceding her in death were her parents, one son Ronald Flynn, one grandson, a daughter-in-law Faye Flynn, two son-in-laws LeRoy Culver and Sid Nelson, five sisters Margaret Weis, Aggie Schmitt, Evelyn Schrauth, Irene Esselman and Regina Koepke.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 9:00 -10:30 AM ay Holy Family Parish- St. Mary's Church, 93 Marquette Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish- St. Mary's Church.
