Marilyn A. Marx, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born September 23, 1933 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Bert and Margaret LaValle Perry. Marilyn was a homemaker and held various jobs throughout her life. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church. Marilyn enjoyed music and was a member of the Fond du Lac Senior Chorus for nine years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, paint by numbers, traveling throughout the United States, and spending time with her grandchildren.SURVIVORS: seven children, Maureen (Larry) Kilgore, Milwaukee, Deborah (Tom) Steffen, Van Dyne, Constance (George) Fechhelm, Oshkosh, Roberta (Brian) Shea, Fond du Lac, Janet (Kevin) McCready, Appleton, Charles (special friend, Loueena) Marx, Fond du Lac, Michael (Amy) Marx, Fond du Lac; ten grandchildren, Brianna and Larry III Kilgore, Heather Steffen, George II Fechhelm, Joshua (Katie) and Michael Shea, Elise and Conor McCready, Andrew and Ryan Marx; one sister, Elaine (Harvey) Daane, Markesan; two brothers, Alan (Marlene) Perry, North Fond du Lac, Gordon Perry, Waupun; two sisters-in-law, Agnes Perry, Rosendale, Patricia (Ambrose) Loecher, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Kathleen Marx; one sister, Maureen Perry; two brothers, Donald and James Perry; one sister-in-law, Jesse Perry.



VISITATION: will be from 10 "“ 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating. Private family burial will take place Monday at Calvary Cemetery.Memorials are appreciated to Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Lincoln House and especially Agnesian Hospice for their care and compassion.
