Marilyn J. Pose

Marilyn J. Pose, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Woodlands Senior Park. She was born December 22, 1934 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Edgar and Kathryn Hautzinger Wagner. She graduated from St. Mary’s Spring High School and was involved with the class reunion committee. On June 30, 1956 she married Maurice W. Pose at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2012. Along with her husband, Maurice they owned and operated Bostwick & Pose until selling the business in 2001 to Lindgren & Lester Inc. where she continued working as office manager until her retirement in 2015. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed going out to eat, holidays with family, casinos, church, and loved being with people.



She is survived by her son, James (Shari) Pose of Oakfield; four grandchildren, Miranda (Chris) James, Danielle (Matt Brehmer) Hodorff, Josh Hodorff, and Ashley (Sean) Scheuers; four great grandchildren, Haley James, Kaeden Hodorff, Makenzee and Bryson Scheuers. She is further survived by her cousin, Gayle (Jeff) Heinrich; nieces and nephews, Nancy (Tom) McGray, Stephen (Carol) Bostwick, Ron (Kathy) Mumm, and Laura (Bill) Meeks. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice; niece, Linda (John) Gitter; and nephew, Mike (Sherry) Bostwick.



The visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:30 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
