Marilyn J. West

Marilyn J. West, 78, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at All About Life Nursing Home. She was born October 27, 1935 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of Michael and Jeanette Houghtelling Wancho. Marilyn married Donald Boyd and he preceded her in death. On December 24, 1966 she married Carl D. West in Kingsford, MI and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1984. Marilyn enjoyed going for coffee, animals and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.



She is survived by seven children, Sheri (John) Essmann, Dawn (Gary) Kind, Donald Boyd, Carl (Linda) West, Michael West, Christopher West, Shalon West, all of Fond du Lac; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one son, Robert Boyd; one daughter, Michelle West; one step daughter, Sheree Pierce; two daughter-in-laws, Kathy Boyd and Becky West; two grandsons, John Essmann and Donnie Boyd.
