Marilyn Jean Wilke

Marilyn Jean Wilke, 71, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2013 at UW Hospital in Madison with her family by her side. She was born August 15, 1942 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Violet Schultz and adopted by her parents, Wendell and Esther Haskins. Marilyn graduated from Goodrich High School on June 7, 1962. On November 26, 1977 she married Daniel G. Wilke at Apostolic Gospel Church in Oshkosh. Marilyn was a member of Cornerstone Worship Center. For greater than 25 years she provided compassionate care to nursing home residents. Marilyn was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed playing piano, organ, saxophone and vibraharp. Marilyn enjoyed crossword puzzles, camping, painting ceramics, and loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted assistant pastor's wife for over 30 years, an affectionate selfless mother, and a proud grandmother. Marilyn was a Godly Lady with a feisty spirit and above all the Lord Jesus Christ was her rock. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Daniel; two sons, Jason (Angie) Wilke, Sheboygan Falls and Steven Wilke, Sheboygan; three grandchildren, Lilyanah, Nathaniel and Isaac; her mother, Esther Haskins, Fond du Lac; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her biological parents, William and Violet Schultz; her father, Wendell Haskins; ten biological siblings and her adopted sister, Barbara Wilke.



The visitation will be held from 9:00 "“ 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Cornerstone Worship Center, 154 W. McWilliams Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Cornerstone Worship Center with Rev. Dale Pace officiating. Private family burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery.
