Marilyn M. Schultz, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Harbor Haven Nursing Center. She was born November 13, 1932 in Hartford, WI, the daughter of Christ and Melinda Krahn Keller. On February 14, 1959 she married Edward J. Schultz in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2001. Marilyn worked as a secretary for Mercury Marine for many years, retiring in the early 90’s. She was a member of Church of Peace. Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, playing sheepshead and cribbage, traveling, camping, playing Bingo, watching golf, the Packers and the Brewers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Thomas (Theresa) Schultz of Ripon, Kay (Calvin) Wood of North Fond du Lac, and David (Shari) Schultz of Fond du Lac; one step daughter, Maryann Keippel of Sheboygan; twelve grandchildren, TJ Schultz, Tara Schultz, Tyler Schultz, Justin (Michelle) Moon, Alex Wood, Taylor Schultz, Madison Schultz, McKenzie Schultz, Morgan Schultz, Beth Keippel, John Keippel, and Samantha Keippel. She is further survived by one brother, Ron (Barb) Keller of Rosendale; three sisters, Mae Becker of Fond du Lac, Nancy (Harvey) Brodzeller of Kewaskum, and Christine (Mike) Weimer of North Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; two brothers, Kenneth Keller and Clarence Keller; one sister, Donna Keller; brother-in-law, Gene Becker; and special friend, Myron Reid.
The visitation will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Church of Peace with Revs. Jennifer C. M. Dawson and James F. D. Martin officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
