Marilyn R. Laudolff, age 85, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, February 03, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on May 13, 1932, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Louis J. and Therese L. (Blasnig) Faris. Marilyn worked for twenty years at Mercury Marine as a cost accountant until retiring in 1989. She was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church and a current member of Holy Family Parish. Marilyn was a foster grandparent since 2001.
Survivors include four children, Nancy Brunet of Adams-Friendship, Charlene Balnis of Tempe, AZ, Therese (Ken “Pete”) Baker of Fond du Lac, Thomas F. Laudolff of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Tara Laning of Fond du Lac, Ben (Shawna Cleveland) Baker of Oshkosh, Lucas Baker of Fond du Lac, Chuck (fiancé Angela Lunde) Balnis ; two great-grandchildren, Haley (Nicholas DeVries) Laning, and William Stellmacher; two great-great-grandchildren, Nicholas DeVries and Harmony DeVries; one sister, Sr. Barbara Faris OSF of Montana; one sister-in-law, Barbara Faris of Fond du Lac; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis John Faris and Therese Louise Faris; and one brother, Francis Faris;
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, from 4-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
