MARILYN THOMSONMarilyn Thomson, 73, formerly of 449 Amory Street and 519 Luco Road, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at the St. Francis Home. Marilyn was born in Fond du Lac on September 15,1933 the daughter of Phillip H. and Elizabeth Eichler Lichtenwald. On January 24, 1953 she married Edwin J. Thomson in Fond du Lac.Marilyn worked at Mercury Marine for 43 years as an assembler. She was a member of the United Church of Christ- Church of Peace. Marilyn and Edwin resided at 449 Amory Street for 48 years later moving to 519 Luko Road and recently to St. Clare Terrace. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling especially trips to Door County.Survivors include her husband, Edwin J. Thomson, Fond du Lac, two brothers, Carl and Alex Lichtenwald of Fond du Lac. Marilyn is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.



Friends may call on Friday, December 1,2006 from 4-7 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, December 1,2006 at the funeral home with Reverend Virginia Pych officiating. Private family entombment will be held in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Employee Appreciation Fund at St. Francis home.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
