Marion A. Ross

January 20, 1925 — November 28, 2004

Marion A. Ross, age 79, formerly of North Fond du Lac and Fond du Lac, and currently a resident of Montello, died Sunday, November 28, 2004. She was born on January 20, 1925 in Manitowoc, WI the daughter of Joseph and Lydia Novachek. On July 9, 1949 she married Merlin H. Ross. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1974. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Teacher Training School in 1943. She received a BS in Education from Marian College in 1971. She was an Elementary School teacher at schools in Maribel, WI, Presentation School in North Fond du Lac, St. Boniface School in DePere, and Rosendale B.D. Leith School and Brandon Elementary. She retired in 1987 having taught for 35 years. She was a member of the Wisconsin Education Association, and Holy Family Parish. SURVIVORS: five children, Sally (Mike) Weber of Littleton, CO, Michael (Mary) Ross of Neenah, Scott (Laurie) Ross of Hales Corners, WI, Steve (Donna) Ross of Portage, WI, Beth Roberts of Rock Springs, WY, twelve grandchildren, Bethany, Ann, Thomas, Peterson, Joseph, Michelle, Brian, Conner, Renee, Michael, Kaitlin, and Taylor, one great grandchild Payton, one brother, Paul Novachek of Larabee, WI, two sisters, Florence Brieder of Two Rivers, WI, Carol Wolf of Sheboygan, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.



VISITATION: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 9:30 A.M. until 12 noon at Holy Family Parish-St. Patrick's Church. FUNERAL: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 12 noon at Holy Family Parish-St. Patrick's Church with the Reverend John Radetski officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
