Marion Gorr

Marion (Runke) Gorr, age 81, of 6 Hummingbird Court, North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on October 7, 1933 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of Henry and Elsie (Matzke) Runke. She earned an Associate Degree in Accounting in 1977. She married John Kinnett and they later divorced. Marion then married Robert J. Gorr Jr. on January 10, 1987. Marion worked at Schofield Hardware, Walter Keyes-CPA, Quality State Oil Co., Kohler State Credit Union, and as a Matron at the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department. Marion had many wonderful travels with her husband Bob, especially to Door County and Wisconsin Dells. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, reading, classic cars, and attending concerts at the Crystal Grand Theatre in Wisconsin Dells.



SURVIVORS: her husband Bob of North Fond du Lac; three children, Elizabeth (Kevin) Hasenstein of St. Francis, WI, Lawrence Kinnett of Fifield, WI, and Daniel Kinnett of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren, Dale, Joslyn, Crystal, Jacob, Victoria, Laura, and John; three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons; sister in law, Gen Runke of Stevens Point, WI; brother in law, Joseph (Kathy) Gorr of St. Nazianz, WI, and many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Janet (Jock) Rader and Lorella (Tom) Bidwell and many other special friends in Door County and Sheboygan.



There will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place.



In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Fond du Lac Public Library in Marion’s name.
