Marjorie E. Sharkey

Marjorie E. Sharkey, age 90, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1923 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Jesse and Ida (Weber) East. On November 12, 1960 she married John E. "Jack" Sharkey in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1981. Marjorie worked at Infant Socks retiring in 1960. She was a member of the Church of Peace. At the church she managed the bake sale for many years and was a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed bowling and golf and was in leagues for many years. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time at the family's second home in Redgranite. Marjorie was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for over twenty years.SURVIVORS: her step-son, Terry (Donna) Sharkey of Omro; two granddaughters, Mona (Jeff) Schmidt of Oshkosh, Lisa (Mark Frank) Sharkey of Omro; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Palecek, Cory Schmidt, and Ava Sharkey; niece, Cheryl (Wayne) Belongia of Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Eleanor (James) Pongase, and one dear niece, Michelle.



VISITATION: Friday, November 29, 2013 from 1-3:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI. FUNERAL: Friday, November 29, 2013 at 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev.
