Marjorie L. Bengtson

Marjorie L. G. Bengtson, 79, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at All About Life Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 9, 1934 in Florida, the daughter of John "Jack" and Bettie Holmes Bengtson. On July 19, 1952 she married Dwane O. Lund in Miller, Indiana. Marjorie was a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, the Bible, tropical fish, and her pets. Most of all Marjorie loved to help people.She is survived by her ex-husband, Dwane; seven children, Lorraine (Thomas) Dehne, Cynthia (Benny) Bailey, Wendy (Donald Pope) Lund, John Lund, Annette (Scott) McCaslin, Richard Lund, and Sherrie Rasmussen; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, JoeAnne Platukis and Carolyn Thompson; one nephew, Edward Wiskow; one niece, Hope (Richard) Ziemba; her Godchild, Henri Boyrington; and her furry friend, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tina; one Godchild, LaShone Boyrington.



The visitation will be held from 1 "“ 2 PM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Salvation Army, 237 North Macy Street, Fond du Lac. The Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Salvation Army with Lts. Steve and Telinda Wilson officiating.
