Fond du Lac

Marjorie Rae Liebelt, age 78, of Fond du Lac, WI, went to be with our Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, with her loving family by her side.

Marjorie was born October 7, 1945, in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Harold and Jean (Ramsay) Carlblom. She graduated from American Correspondence School, and went on to North Central Bible College, in Minneapolis, MN. On October 2, 1965, Marj was united in marriage to Robert Carl Liebelt at the Minneapolis Gospel Tabernacle. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and found great pride in taking care of family and being at every event she could of her grandkids activities. She had the gift of hospitality and always enjoyed making meals for people and hosting at her home. She carried the missionary heart of her parents and wanted people to love Jesus. Marj was a member of Lighthouse Christian Church in Fond du Lac, where she was involved in numerous ministries over the years, but her greatest ministry was to her family and her desire was that they all know Jesus. She had a beautiful smile, a large circle of friends, and enjoyed being an active participant in the Parkinson’s Exercise class at the YMCA in Fond du lac.

Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Liebelt of Fond du Lac, WI; her children, Scott (Molly) Liebelt of Oakfield, WI and Chere Rydzewski of Beaver Dam, WI; her sister, Patsy (Robert) Pearson of Roseville, MN; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard Balken of Fond du Lac, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jean Carlblom; and two sisters, Joanne Balken and Charlaine Ramsay.
