Our Lord and Savior called Marjorie Mae Perry, 74, of 700 S. Main Street, home on Thursday, October 19, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born May 30, 1932, in Adams County, the daughter of Frank and Cecelia Petersen Barton. On March 16, 1956, she married Kenneth Perry in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1985. Mrs. Perry was a member of the Altar Guild and the Women of the Evangelical Church of America at Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran. She was employed at Canvas Products and Haber Printing. She spent several years loving and caring for children in her home. She returned to Haber Printing in the late 80's and fully retired in 2003. Marjorie was lovingly devoted, especially to her children, parents, and siblings. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking, and spending time with her family.Surviving is a daughter, Judy (Gerald Jr.) Pierce of Fond du Lac, two sons, Thomas Perry of Fond du Lac, and Daniel (Jill) Perry of Malone, five grandchildren, Andrew (Meloni) Pierce, Amie (Mark) Hegy of Fond du Lac, Joseph (Jamie) Perry of Fond du Lac, Brian Atkinson of Mt. Calvary, and Thomas Perry Jr. of Oshkosh, and two great-grandsons, Tyler and Zachery Perry of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by five sisters, Frances Hamilton of Fond du Lac, Karen (Paul) Goldapske of Van Dyne, Loretta Snyder of Yelm, WA, Susanne (Don) Aldrich of Pittsboro, IN, and Lanette (Leonard Jr.) Bruflat of Fond du Lac, and five brothers, Wayne Barton of Waukesha, Russell (Janet) Barton of Brownsville, Clair (Carolyn) Barton and Larry (Marsha) Barton, both of Fond du Lac, and Lewellyn Barton of Oconomowoc. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Beatrice Geisthardt and brother-in-law, Milo (Maxine) Perry, both of Oakfield and her very special friend and fiancé, Robert Johnson, of Fond du Lac. Her parents, husband, a brother-in-law, Donald Hamilton, and a nephew, Gary Hamilton, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Marjorie Mae Perry will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, from 9 to 11 am at Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the church on Tuesday. The Rev. David Redman will officiate and cremation will follow with inurnment of cremated remains in Rosendale Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mrs. Perry's name.
