Mark E. Mclain

Mark E. McLain, 62, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1949 in Fond du Lac, the son of Robert and Selma Zamzow McLain. Mark was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1967. Mark attended University of Wisconsin Madison. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad, Wisconsin Central Railroad, and Canadian National Railroad. Mark also volunteered for Loaves and Fishes for several years. On May 30, 1997 Mark married Debra M. Gannon Barnes in Sturgeon Bay. He enjoyed sports, reading, and was very proud of his children.SURVIVORS: his wife, Debra; three children, Kelly (Andrew) McLain, Nicholas (Maureen) McLain, Ryan (Sarah) McLain; two grandchildren; three step children, Lori Barnes, Adam (Angela) Barnes, David Barnes; six step grandchildren. He is further survived by one brother, Daniel (Kris) McLain, Fond du Lac; one sister, Mary (Keith) Searl, Fond du Lac; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Patrick and Michael.



Visitation will be held from 3 "“ 6 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
