Mark G. "Pollock" Plonsky

Mark G. "Pollock" Plonsky, 44, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born May 17, 1967 in Fond du Lac, the son of Gerald and Darlene Benzel Plonsky. On January 6, 1996 he married Kim M. Shepro in Fond du Lac and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2007. Mark was employed by Abel Landscaping and McNeilus Steel Inc. He was a member of Sturgeons for Tomorrow, Whitetails Unlimited, NRA and the Fond du Lac City Pool League. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, throwing darts, shooting pool, snowmobiling, and driving in demolition derbies. SURVIVORS: his father, Gerald (Marilyn) Plonsky, Waupun; his maternal grandmother, Betty Benzel, Fond du Lac; his special friend, Becky Wightman and her children, Brooke and Jacob, Eden; one daughter, Heidi (special friend, Henry) Plonsky, Milwaukee; two sons, Jacob (Jessica) Plonsky, Berlin and Patrick Plonsky, Fond du Lac; two step children, Krysten (Shaun Steger) VanEgtern, Lomira and Kaycee (Brandon Lund) VanEgtern, Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren, Yaliez and Dimitri Reed, Hunter Duley, Xavier Plonsky, Dominik, Navedyn and Spenzer, and Emma Lund. He is further survived by one sister, Chris (Mark) Binsfeld, Killeen, TX; two brothers, Mike (Angie) Plonsky, Waupun and Tony (Rachel) Plonsky, Fall River; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Plonsky; his wife, Kim Plonsky; his maternal grandfather, Wilmer Benzel; his paternal grandparents, Harold and Rhea Plonsky.



VISITATION: will be from 3 "“ 8 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Rienzi Cemetery on Monday January 30, 2012 at 1:30 PM.In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
