Mark M. LeMieux

Mark M. LeMieux, age 60, died on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, in the presence of his son and siblings after a lengthy hospital stay. He was born on December 9, 1964, in Fond du Lac, the son of Jerome, Sr., and Janet (Lehman) LeMieux. He was a 1983 graduate of Goodrich High School. Mark served in the United States Army National Guard Medical Corps, and he was proud that all six LeMieux boys served in the U.S. military. Mark continued his government service as a correctional officer at Waupun and Green Bay Correctional Institutions. Mark enjoyed crossword puzzles, trivia games, Brewers baseball, par-3 golf, music, classic Star Trek, the Rocky movies, and singing with his brother on car trips to Michigan to visit his sister. 

Survivors include his son, Craig LeMieux of Madison; father, Jerome, Sr., (Ruth) LeMieux of Fond du Lac; mother, Janet LeMieux of Appleton; brothers, Jeffery (Ann) LeMieux of Green Bay and Jim LeMieux of Edgerton; sister, Julie LeMieux (Terry Quick) of Quinnesec, MI; step-brothers, Todd Meyer of Green Bay, Walter Meyer, Darrin Feucht, and Roger Feucht of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Sonoko LeMieux of Okinawa, Japan; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Jerome LeMieux, Jr., Tom LeMieux, and Martin Todd LeMieux; stepbrother, Stephen Meyer; and stepmother, Darlene Felix. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word service will be held, beginning at 12:00 PM with Military Funeral Honors to follow the service. Cremation will follow the service with Mark’s final resting place to be the military section of the cremation garden at Calvary Cemetery.
