Mark William Blodgett, 54, passed away Tuesday, June 16th at ManorCare in Fond du Lac.
Mark was born on October 7, 1960 as a resident of Horicon. He moved with his family to California at the age of 11. He spent his early adult years travelling before settling down in Fond du Lac.
Mark was a man with many talents, but was especially skilled at carpentry work. One of his greatest passions in life was fishing. He was a kind man with a special love for children and animals.
Mark is survived by his mother, Marianne Brown (Ingles), sister Debra Bumgarner (Blodgett), and nephew Alex Finn, all of Las Vegas, Nevada. He also leaves behind his partner, Barbara Mallaly, of Fond du Lac. Preceding him in death was his father, Donald Blodgett.
A celebration of Mark’s life is being planned for a later date.
A special thank you goes out to the people at Heartland Hospice and ManorCare for their compassionate care of Mark during his lengthy illness.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Heartland Hospice.
