Marlea E. Loehr

Mrs. Marlea E. Loehr, 94, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at St. Anne's Home in Milwaukee where she had been a resident for the past five years. She was born April 16, 1911, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of William and Edna Friday Hickey. On July 23, 1960, she married Emmeram "Doc" Loehr at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1968. For many years, Mrs. Loehr taught in the Fond du Lac County rural schools. She later moved to Milwaukee and taught in the Milwaukee School system until her retirement.Surviving are two sisters, Mary Wildenberg of North Fond du Lac, and Patricia Culver of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her husband, two brothers, Francis and Andrew Hickey, and a sister, Gertrude Artin preceded her in death.
