Marlene A. Smurawa

Marlene A. Smurawa, 67, of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born April 22, 1945, in Eden, the daughter of Ernest and Anna Miller Klatt. On October 3, 1980, she married Anthony J. Smurawa in Michigan. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2010. Marlene was employed by the Stretch and Plainview Travel Plaza. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. Surviving is a daughter, Cheri (Mike) Thorp of Van Dyne, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother.



Committal services for Marlene A. Smurawa will be on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 1 PM at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, N6250 County Trunk K, Fond du Lac. Rev. Marcelain Elliott will officiate.
