Marlene E. Pressnell

Marlene E. Pressnell, 73, died at her home on Tuesday, September, 8, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Fond du Lac on September 29, 1941 to William and Adeline (Tank) Bredlau. On October 1, 1966, she married Vernon Pressnell at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2009.



Marlene loved to garden. She was a member of the Garden Club. She was a dedicated member of her church (Church of Our Savior), volunteering for anything that needed to be done. She traveled on many bus trips with the Senior Center. Most of all, she loved her 7 year old neighbor girl, Kendra Knueppel.



Surviving Marlene are her 3 sons; Shaun (Kris) Pressnell, Fond du Lac, Colin Pressnell, Fond du Lac, Jeremy (Mary Ann) Pressnell, Mount Calvary; granddaughter Amanda, Mount Calvary; 1 brother, Paul (Jackie) of Hudson, Florida; 2 sisters, Glenda (James) Mamerow of Red Granite, Wis. and Julie (Joe) Breitzman of Mosinee, Wis.; her step-mother, Irma Bredlau of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her daughter-in-law, Kelly Pressnell.



A visitation for Marlene will be held Monday, September, 14, 2015 from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Church of Our Saviour, 363 S. Main St. in Fond du Lac. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Matthew Agee officiating. Cremation has taken place.
