Marvin "Uncle Abie" R. Abraham, 84, of 216 Auburn Street, died Friday, August 13, 2010at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on June 9, 1926 in the Town of Black Wolf the son ofAlfred and Esther Madaus Abraham. On February 28, 1948 he married Betty "Bimmie"Lietz. Betty preceded him in death on February 26, 2005. Marvin was a veteran U.S. Army in World War II, serving as a tank driver. He worked for Spies painting houses and later worked independently. He also worked at Mercury Marine for over 38years from where he retired. He enjoyed Karaoke and spending time with family.SURVIVORS: include two daughters; Sandra Rae West, Fond du Lac, and Robin Abraham-Letourneau, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren; Randall (Brenda) West, Melissa (Kurt) Linjer,Ryan West, Rockne (Betsy) West, Amber and Sara Letourneau, five great-grandchildren; Madison, Zachary, Aspen, Gavin and Milo. A heartfelt special thank you to his niece, Susie Herbst. Marvin is further survived by four brothers and sisters; Irma Draves, Fond du Lac, LaVerne (Forrest) Wolf, Lamartine, Orville (Nancy) Abraham, Fond du Lac, and Norbert Abraham, Mass. Preceded in death by parents," Beloved Wife, Betty," four brothers and two sisters.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Uecker-WtttFuneral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Gerald Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park.
