Mary Acord

Mary Acord, 92, formerly of 107 Marys Avenue and currently a resident of The Woodlands Assisted Living, died Thursday, February 15, 2007. She was born January 30, 1915 in Dublin, WI, the daughter of Frank and Sophie Mis Igras. In 1936 she married Lloyd Acord and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1953. Mary worked for Infant Socks and for 30 years at Bestt Rollr retiring in 1983. She was a member of Church of Peace, United Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and cooking. SURVIVORS: one son, James R. Acord, Worland, WY; one daughter, Geraldine "Sis" (Jack) Gutreuter, Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Julie (Brian) Randall, Joe Gutreuter, both of Fond du Lac, Jeff (Paula) Acord, Worland, WY, Jodi (Clinton) Cheeney, Buffalo, WY; six great-grandchildren, Kylie and Jackson Gutreuter, Fond du Lac, Sarah and Samantha Cheeney, Buffalo, WY, Christa and Coyer Acord, Worland, WY; one sister, Frances (Ed) Olichwier, Stanley, WI; one brother, Val (Marvel) Igras, Chippewa Falls, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter-in-law, JoAnne, one grandson, John Gutreuter, two sisters and two brothers.



VISITATION: friends may call on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 11AM "“ 1PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Virginia Pych officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
