Mary B. Held

Mary Barbara Held, age 91 formerly of Germantown and a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, diedSaturday, July 3,2004 at the nursing home. She was born January 15,1913 at Auburndale ,WI the daughter of Michael and Rosalia Grossbeier Striegel. On December 31,1936 she married Robert L. Held at Whitefish Bay, WI. He preceded her in death on January 28,1978. She resided in Germantown for 60 years and was a member of St. Boniface Parish and the Christian Mothers Society, Goldendale.



SURVIVORS: three children, Elmer (Etta) Held, Oakfield, WI , Bonnie Erdmann, Weyawega,WI, and Richard (Louise) Held, Arbor Vitae ,WI , sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one brother, Louis Striegel, Auburndale, WI , three sisters, Louise Bock, Auburndale ,WI , Gertrude Mancl, and Rita Wieseman , both of Marshfield ,WI many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter, Jeanette, four brothers; Edward, Paul, Victor, Frederick, six sisters, Doris Henson, Jeanette Striegel, Agnes Holland, Dorothy Davidson, Clare Thome, and Cecelia Puskarich.VISITATION: Friday, July 9,2004 from 9 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Hubertus. FUNERAL: Friday, July 9,2004 at 11:00 a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Hubertus. Reverend Bernard Sippel will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Parish Cemetery, Goldendale.
