Mary Barba

Mrs. Mary Barba, 84, of 259 Lawrence Avenue, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at her residence. She was born July 5, 1920, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Nick and Athenisia Koumodours Pothas. On January 15, 1944, she married Savas "Sam" Barba in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2003. She was a former member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Dancing Club, and was formerly employed by Wells Manufacturing.Surviving is a son, James, of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren, Lisa M. (Scott) Serfozo of Milwaukee and Tony James (Kathy) Barba of Beaver Dam, five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trista, Kateland, and Matt Barba, and Syrenity Kahlhammer. Her parents, a daughter, Mary Ann Kahlhammer, and a grandson, Joshua Kahlhammer preceded her in death.
