Mary E. Sheridan

Mary E. Sheridan, 74, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, April 05, 2010 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born March 10, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Thomas M. and Adelaide A. Schumacher Rodden. On August 4, 1956 she married Robert C. Sheridan in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death. Mary was a member of Holy Family Parish. She worked for Taycheedah Correctional Institution as a correctional officer until her retirement as Associate Warden-Security. She enjoyed building dollhouses, puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family.SURVIVORS: three children, Terri Sheridan, Kearney, NE, Thomas (Gina) Sheridan, Fond du Lac, Tami (Jeff) DuFrane, Madison; six grandchildren, Megan, Kelly, Laura, and Jennifer Sheridan, Nikki and Emmy DuFrane; two sisters, Joan (Bill) Lemke, Fond du Lac, Patricia Pothas, Fond du Lac; one brother, Thomas (Diane) Rodden, Ankeny, IA; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Detloff, Fond du Lac, Ann (Joe) Wenzler, Mequon, WI, Barb Sheridan, Grafton, WI; two brothers-in-law, Don Munson, Fond du Lac, Sandy Kalmerton, Oshkosh; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Janet Munson, Meg Kalmerton; one brother, Edward Rodden; two brothers-in-law, George Pothas, John Sheridan.



The visitation will be held from 4:30 "“ 7 PM on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating.
