Mary E. Wachholz

Mary E. Wachholz, 69, of Van Dyne, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, with family by her side. She was born in Fond du Lac on December 13, 1952, the daughter of Jerome and Shirley (Cutler) Walsh, Sr. On September 25, 1975, she married Wayne Wachholz in Van Dyne.



Mary worked at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home for many years. After retiring, she took her love into the homes of the developmentally disabled where she cared for them. Mary was a very caring and compassionate person. She enjoyed her flower garden and her favorite thing to do was camping in Door County. Most importantly, Mary loved spending time with her family.



Mary is survived by her husband, Wayne; three children, Fred Wolf (Julie), Terra Mulholland (Ben), and Sarah James (Ricky); four grandchildren, Miranda Gasper (Austin), Cade, Brittany (Jeff) and Paige; one great-grandson, Caleb; and her brother, Jerome Walsh, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents.



Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Paul Osterholm, Sr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
