Mary Lou Fox

Mary Lou Fox, 93, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, March 15, 2024 at Hospice Home of Hope.  She was born February 9, 1931 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Minnie Priepke Streblow.  On August 16, 1952 she married Robert M. Fox at the Presentation Rectory in North Fond du Lac.  Mary Lou farmed alongside her husband on the family farm for 75 years.

She is survived by her four children, Jim (Deb) Fox, Julie (Blaine) Bartel, Tom (Geriann) Fox, all of Fond du Lac, Karen (Jim) Hoff of North Fond du Lac; ten grandchildren, Jeanna (Mark) Dante, Jenni (Paul) Badtke, Dan (special friend, Kelsey) Fox, Pamela (Luke) Tranel, Adam (Kelly) Bartel, Colleen (Shawn) Anhalt, Nicole Fox, Eric Hoff, Rachel Hoff, and Kayla Hoff; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce Streblow of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; two granddaughters, baby girl Fox and Michelle Fox; one great granddaughter, Angel Dante; her siblings, Glenn (Beatrice) Streblow, Bernice (Roland) Weber, Gertrude (William) Huber, Kenneth (Loraine) Streblow, Delores (Norman) Pfeiffer, John Streblow, Jr., Marian (Leonard) Jordanski, and Robert (Peggy) Streblow. 

The visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.  A private funeral service will be held and entombment will follow in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Sage Meadows, especially Chaplain Jim, SSM at Home Hospice and the Hospice Home of Hope for the care and compassion given to Mary Lou and her family.
