Mary H. Meyer

Mary H. (Boudry) Meyer, age 56 of W3356 Golf Course Drive, Fond du Lac was guided by her special guardian angel to eternal heaven on Friday, March 5, 2004 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was greeted by her two special angels Brenda and Johnny, her parents all which she truly missed since their departure on earth. Mary was born on March 6, 1947 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Franklin and Alice Zeleske Boudry, the second child and the first daughter. Mary was married to Melvin E. Meyer on August 9, 1969 at St. Patrick's Church with the Reverend Edward Sippel officiating. They were married thirty-four years. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt; she had two godchildren, Nicole Amadon of Slinger, Joshua Mundt of Fond du Lac. Mary enjoyed collecting angels and flower arrangements and volunteering her time at Sacred Heart. She liked watching Days of Our Lives, going to H & R Sales, going to the Stretch with her husband, meeting friends, Sandy Smet, Anna Macleod, Danny Rhode, John Wedell, Dave Burnett, and many others. Mary is survived by her husband Melvin, daughter Diane (Mark) Opperman, a very special grandson Trenton (7) and two beautiful granddaughters Taylor (6) and Katrina (1), one brother, Bill (Linda) Boudry of Hartford, WI, four sisters, Jane (Bruce) Braun, Arlene (Gerry) Cardinal, Lori Mundt (special friend Dave Krebsbach), and Renee Boudry, all of Fond du Lac, stepmother Lorry Boudry, brothers and sisters in law, Julie Smith of Darien, IL, Cyril Mayer of Fond du Lac, Robert Mayer of Augusta, WI, Barb Emmer of Malone, Lucille Mayer of Kansas City, KS, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Mary was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda on February 20, 1972 and a son Johnny on July 31, 1981, her mother on March 8, 1979, her father on December 31, 2002, a great niece Miriah Seal, cousin Sandy Grainger, both maternal and paternal grandparents, sister in law, Bernice Gonzalez, mother and father in law, Raymond and Marie Thome Mayer.



VISITATION: Monday, March 8, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 10:00 A.M. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Patrick's Church with the Reverend Edward Sippel officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of services. Memorials appreciated to the family or to Hospice Home of Hope.
