Mary Jane De Motts, 70, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1944 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Daniel R. and Edna H. Gollnick Romalia. On May 24, 1985 she married Roland L. DeMotts in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2010. Mary was an executive secretary at Brooke Industries for six years. She worked at Fond du Lac Visitors and Convention Bureau for over forty years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan.
She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Jill) Cook of Menomonee Falls and Scott Cook of Billoxi, MS; three step-sons, Brian (Norma) DeMotts of Lawrence, KS, Bruce (Janna) DeMotts of Pensacola, FL, and Scott (Marlene) DeMotts of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Drevin, Adam, and Sierra; six step-grandchildren, Jarrod, Julie, Carmen, Westin, Mallory, and Madison; five great grandchildren, Ella-Byrd, Micah, Jude Michael, Allison and Alex and one great- great granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. FUNERAL: The funeral services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Reverend William Gruenstern officiating. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
