Mary A. Kaiser

Mary A. Kaiser, 89, of North Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 21, 2025. She was born in Eldorado, WI, on December 15, 1935, to Chester and Irene (Hackbarth) Kemnitz. On October 27, 1956, Mary married Wyllis J. Kaiser in Eldorado. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2004.

Mom’s greatest joy was her family. She loved cooking and baking, especially for her grandchildren. In her earlier years, you could always find Mary fishing in her spare time. She worked for the USPS until retirement, making many dear friends throughout the years. Mary had a strong faith and was loved by many. 

Mary is survived by her three children, DeeAnn K. (Alan) Ahrens of North Fond du Lac, Kevin J. (Debra) Kaiser of Neshkoro, and Wade J. (Sherry) Kaiser of Ripon; six grandchildren, Tiffani (Kent), Dwight, Bailey (Dan), Ross (Karla), Grace, and Cooper; five great-grandchildren, Brianna, Myah, Leah, Anderson, and Brooks; her siblings, Gary (Faye) Kemnitz, Alice (Jeff) Wittchow, and Kaye Albrecht. In addition, she is further survived by a brother-in-law, Bill Freiberg; and three sisters-in-law, Sandy Kemnitz, Nancy Kemnitz, and Carol Kemnitz. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by brothers Louie (Lucille) Kemnitz, Dave (Beth) Kemnitz, Steve Kemnitz, Tom Kemnitz, and Jim Kemnitz; sisters, JoAnn Frieberg and Sally (Fred) Mattheis; and a brother-in-law, Reine Albrecht. 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave. in North Fond Du Lac, WI, 54937. The memorial service will follow at church, beginning at 1:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
