Mary L. Gorman

Mary L. Gorman, 84 of Fond du Lac, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Madison the daughter of Earling and Nedra Dudley Forsmo. On April 24, 1948 she married John H. Gorman at St. Raphael's Cathedral in Madison. Mary enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, camping, theatre, and had a close circle of friends in Madison for over 50 years which continued after moving to Fond du Lac in 2002. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Madison.SURVIVORS: Mary is survived by her husband, John Gorman, Fond du Lac, three children Barb (Sharon Diedrich) Gorman, Fond du Lac, Jeff (Christine) Gorman, New Prague, MN, Anne (Kim Chytka) Gorman, Fond du Lac, three grandchildren, Ryley, Zachary, and Gabrielle all of Hudson, WI., two brothers, Ron Forsmo, New York, NY, Jim (Dixie) Forsmo, Boise, ID, and one sister, Judy Wheeler, Oceanside, CA. Mary is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two children Michael Gorman and Kathleen Pope.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, WI. There will also be a visitation Friday, July 19, 2013, from 11 AM to 12:00 Noon at Blessed Sacrament Church,2116 Hollister Street, Madison, WI. FUNERAL: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend DePorres Durham officiating. Inurnment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Madison."Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Home of Hope and St. Agnes Hospital as well as her neighbors and friends for their care and compassion to Mary and her family."
