Mary Lou Beck

Mary Lou Beck, age 80, formerly of 653 W. Arndt St, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on July 12, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Kindness) Faul. Martha died four years later, Charles then married Florence Faul. On April 15, 1948 she married George Beck, he preceded her in death in 1985. Mary worked various jobs over the years, including a cook a the Beer Hut, a bartender/cook at Lakeside Tavern, a bartender at Gordy's Welcome Inn, and was a morning biscuit maker at Hardees until her retirements. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, and loved playing bingo at Westnor. She loved hopping on her scooter and going to watch her grandchildren in BMX races.SURVIVORS: five children, Beverly Hurley of Byron, Richard Beck of Fond du Lac, Jim Beck of Fond du Lac, Math (Barb) Beck of Oakfield, Linda (Paul) Weimer of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, John Beck, Megan Beck, Katie Beck, Dallas Weimer, Angie Hurley, Michelle Bach, and Rebecca Hurley, three great-grandchildren, Rita Bach, Timothy Hurley, Nicole Hurley, brothers and sisters, Dorothy Whittaker of Fond du Lac, Ron (Loretta) Faul of Oshkosh, Frederick (Dixie) Faul of Redgranite, Ferdinand "Butch" (Rhonda) Faul of Las Vegas, NV, her twin sister, Betty Holz of Fond du Lac, sister in law, Bernie Faul of West Bend, brother in law, Kenneth Gordon of West Bend, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers and sisters, Charles Faul Jr., Donald Faul, Barbara Gordon, June Boettcher, and in laws, Louie Whittaker, Charles Holz, and Shirley Faul.



VISITATION: Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 9-11 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
